If youre seeking a role that offers high-qualitywork, career development, and the chance to work with industry-leading professionals, then look no further!This is what youll be doing as an Commercial Disputes SolicitorThis Cardiff Commercial Dispute Resolution team has achieved consistent Tier 1 rankings in the prestigious Legal 500. They are motivated, busy, and highly effective in providing comprehensive litigation services to a range of clients. You will be;

  • Offering comprehensive legal counsel on litigation cases, encompassing strategic, transactions, and commercial aspects, while supporting the Partners and the broader Commercial Dispute Resolution team.
  • Collaborate closely with the team and handle a portfolio of assigned matters, benefiting from supervision and guidance.
  • Demonstrate initiative and eagerness to actively engage in business development activities and contribute to shaping the teams strategic direction.
  • Engage in a diverse range of commercial dispute resolution work of exceptional quality, which includes interacting with clients from various industries.
  • Leverage the expertise of sector specialists within the firm and collaborate with them to identify and cultivate growth opportunities for the team.
  • Undertake challenging assignments involving high-profile, high-value, and complex litigation and arbitration cases.
The experience you will bring to the teamWe are seeking a lawyer with 1-4 years of experience (PQE) in a high-performing dispute resolution team, handling complex issues. The indicated PQE range serves as a guideline, and candidates with more experience are welcome to apply.
  • Strong technical skills, excellent academic qualifications (2:1 degree or higher), and a solid commercial understanding are essential for providing optimal practical advice to clients
  • Demonstrated exposure to clients, counsel, and experts is required, while experience in business development and a good understanding of winning work are desirable, at a like minded firm
