Job Description

Support Officer - 3 Months Contract - Day Rate £350-£400 (Outside IR35) The OpportunityYolk Recruitment Public Sector & Not-for-Profit team has partnered with a large public sector organisation to recruit a contracted Support Officer. They are an extraordinary organisation based in Cardiff with a diverse workforce and inclusive culture.Youll be joining a company full of passionate individuals, who take pride in their work and the business. Your role will sit within the divisionof the company focused on driving the Technology Strategy during this 5-year period.Youll be using your excellent organisation and administration skills to support the Power Platform team, specifically regarding ensuring the integrity of the Platform itself.What the Support Officer will be doingYou will be the Supporting Officer for the implementation and delivery of various Power-Platform based initiatives. You will work with the Culture Lead and Technical Architect to establish what routine activities are required to manage the Power Platform. Youllbe empowered to become the expert on all governance initiatives and support the embedding of those initiatives within your department.

  • Delivering on-time reports with a good level of accuracy
  • Preparation and facilitation of quality gates
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of team performance measured against agreed key performance indicators
  • Suggest opportunities for efficiencies through automation and continuous iteration
  • Building relationships with third party providers to optimise the quality of deliverables
What the successful Support Officer will bring to the team
  • A working knowledge and experience of working with Microsofts Power Platform
  • Experience working in a SCRUM environment
  • Experience of co-ordinating, collating and presenting data to senior stakeholders on pre-agreed cycles
  • Experience of administering governance and management processes
  • Experience of supporting a dynamic, fast-paced working environment
Heres What Youll Get in ReturnThe successful Product Owner will be rewarded with;
  • Day Rate of between £350 and £400 (Outside IR35)
  • Hybrid working - 1 day a fortnight in the Cardiff Office
