This is an exciting opportunity to work with us at the dedicated Liver Unit for Wales.Applications are invited for the post of Clinical Fellow in Hepato-Biliary Surgery within the Cardiff and Vale Health Board. This is a role intended for those who are towards the end of their specialist training, or have trained in General Surgery outside of the UK and are wishing to further their clinical experience in HPB Surgery.The successful candidate will receive extensive training in all aspects of general and HPB surgery. This is a fixed term post for 12 months with an option to extend for a further 12 months.The post holder will be supervised in their work by a designated Consultant. The post holder will be expected to be able to perform gallbladder and hernia surgery independently. Extensive training will be given in Liver and Biliary surgery.
