Job Description

Clinical Administrator - 25 hours a week - Cardiff Yolk recruitment Public Sector and Not for Profit is supporting a hospice based in Cardiff to find a Clinical Administrator to provide effective administrative support to the Counselling team. As the Clinical Administrator, you will be responsible for managingpatient appointments, maintaining accurate records on the database, and allocating clients to counsellors. You will also provide general administrative support to the counselling team, including coordinating bereavement events and ensuring appropriate supportfor volunteers. To succeed in this role, you must have excellent communication and relationship skills, advanced keyboard skills, and good planning and organisational skills.The role offers a permanent, part-time role based in Ty Hosbis, working 25 hours per week from Monday to Friday.What you will be doing as Clinical Administrator:

  • Manage patient appointments, maintain accurate records on the database, and allocate clients to counsellors.
  • Provide general administrative support to the counselling team, including coordinating bereavement events, ensuring appropriate support for volunteers, and maintaining an up-to-date waiting list of referrals.
  • Coordination of administrative duties to support the national lottery grant funding activities, including collating all data around client services for grant review committee.
What you will need as a Clinical Administrator:
  • Excellent communication and relationship skills to liaise effectively with people at all levels, including families, patients, clients, GPs and other external bodies.
  • Advanced keyboard skills and a full understanding and working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
  • Good planning and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize workloads and meet deadlines.
