Claims HandlerOnline InterviewsLocation: Cardiff & Hybrid working after induction and trainingSalary: £20,857 per annum + bonusContract: Permanent, 40 hours per weekShifts: 8 hour shifts within our opening hours of MondayFriday 08:0021:00 and Saturday 09:0018:00 (Saturdays are worked on rotation; 1 in 4)**We are holding online interviews on Thursday 10th February and Friday 11th February - apply today for immediate consideration**Do you currently work in, or have experience of providing great Customer Service Are you keen to work in a vibrant, interesting, and expanding businessThis is an exciting time to be part of our businesswe are growing rapidly, and we are launching a new FNOL team within our Cardiff office. We are looking for individuals with a claims / customer service background to take inbound calls and provide a first-classservice to individuals who need to report a motor incident.Dealing with FNOL (First Notification of Loss) insurance claims, the main duties of the role will be taking inbound calls, registering new motor accident claims, processing correspondence in a timely manner and completing all relevant administration tasks.A day in the life of an Claims handler;

  • Handle First Notification of Loss (FNOL) calls, entering relevant claims details into the system
  • Providing a professional and proactive response in assessing claims
  • Providing an empathetic service to clients who have been involved in road traffic incidents
  • Liaise with external companies and internal departments in a timely and professional manner in order to effectively process the customers claim notification
  • To monitor and manage claims ensuring all services are provided in an agreed timescale
  • Assessing new claims in accordance with policy terms and conditions
  • Identify and initiate any potential recoveries from 3rd parties
  • Identifying key requirements for replacement vehicles
