We are currently recruiting for Full Time Christmas Mail Sorters to work for our client at Cardiff Mail Centre (CF11)Pay: £11.40 p/h (days) to £13.70 p/h (nights), £17.50 (Sunday Nights)Most sites offer a range of shifts, so finding one that suits you should be simple. Typical shift patterns include:Earlies: Shifts across Monday to Sunday, between 06:00 and 14:00Lates: Shifts across Monday to Sunday, between 14:00 and 22:00Nights: Shifts across Monday to Sunday, between 22:00 and 02:30Parcel processing requires scanning and identification of parcel destination by either code number or postcode and placing mail into the correct wheeled container for despatch.Once containers are full, they will be pushed to the correct despatch area and loaded onto vehicles.Our Christmas wish list for Mail Sorters- You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines- Youre proactive and detail-focused- Youre flexible and happy to switch between various tasks during a shift- Youre able to push trolleys (up to 250kgs) and lift and move mail bags (up to 11kg)- You can comfortably stand for long periods- You dont need to have worked for us before (we love new people!), but experience in warehouse or sorting work is a plus.You will undergo a DBS check and we are required to obtain 5 years of work/education.Cant wait to get startedOur roles get snapped up, so complete each stage of the progress quickly to avoid disappointment.
