Job Description

Who are we looking forWe are looking for a CharteredLandscaping Architect to join our Housebuild design team.You will be responsible for running small team of architects, to predominately support our new housebuild projects. You will work closely with our operational teams and clients to deliver designs and plans in line with specifications. You will also be responsiblefor developing and growing our internal design function in line with our business growth plans. This is a national role, and can be based from anyone of our offices across the UK.Main responsibilities will include:

  • Create presentation drawings, obtain a brief, and produce a concept design
  • Undertake landscape data investigations, survey work, graphic presentation and technical reporting as required
  • Understand technical data to inform the design and planning of projects.
  • Generate landscape outputs for a variety of projects within the residential new build sector
  • Prepare and coordinate detail design drawings, working drawings, schedules, and requirements
  • Leading on design aspects during third-party consultations as appropriate
About you
  • Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute
  • Degree and or post graduate qualification in relevant discipline (i.e. Landscape Architecture)
  • Experience in using Keyscapes, CAD
  • Experience of Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, 3D Modelling Software would be advantageous for this role
  • Great attention to detail and innovative approach to design, as well as, high level of visualisation skills
  • Ability to build good and effective working relationships with Clients, Colleagues and key business Stakeholders
  • Good written and communication skills
  • Excellent plan knowledge would be advantageous
  • Full UK driving licence to travel to various sites and office around the UK.
