Job Description

Manpower are recruiting a Cashier to work for our valued public sector client.Working within the Retail Sevices Team you be required to:

  • distribute floats to all retail units
  • count the night till up from the previous night
  • take all takings and books to the cashiers office to ensure all is correct
  • completion of all related paperwork - VAT, Discrepancies etc.
  • check all vending machine activity - working/stock/cash
  • Get & count all tills from each unit at specific time and ensure float and takings is correct
  • Ensure any discrepancies are logged and paperwork filled
Essential criteriaPrevious cashier, money handling, retail experience required.Contract TemporaryHours Full time, 37.5 hours per week.You will be required to work Monday to Friday. Shift times are 6 am - 2 pm and 11 am - 7 pm.Hourly rate£9.50 rising to £9.65 after 12 weeks (please note we are waiting on the new increased rates)Does this sound like the opportunity for you, if so, apply today with an up to date CV.
