About the RoleTo contribute to the development and co-ordination of the Wales Safer Communities Network through the creation, implementation and co-ordination of a wide range of business activities, stakeholder engagement and involvement strategies and membership and networking programmes in line with the Networks aims and objectives.To provide line management for the Network Business Support Officer.To deputise for the Head of the Safer Communities Network as necessary.Information about the Safer Communities Board for WalesThis post will primarily support and take forward the work of the Safer Communities Board, supporting and enabling the Board to provide leadership, oversight and direction to community safety work across Wales. The Board has been established by local government and policing in Wales, involving other partners, with the aim of providing effective shared leadership to support local partnership working to support safe, strong and more confident communities.The Board will provide shared national leadership in tackling and addressing community safety issues, including identifying new and emerging shared priorities for cation and ensuring a supportive policy, practice and partnership infrastructure is in place to enable successful delivery, locally and regionally as most appropriate. Fe sefydlwyd y Bwrdd gan lywodraeth leol a phlismona yng Nghymru, yn cynnwys partneriaid eraill, gydar nod o ddarparu arweinyddiaeth ranedig effeithiol i gefnogi gweithio mewn partneriaeth lleol i gefnogi cymunedau diogel, cryf a mwy hyderus.Bydd y Bwrdd yn darparu arweinyddiaeth genedlaethol ranedig er mwyn ymdrin a mynd ir afael â materion diogelwch cymunedol, gan gynnwys adnabod blaenoriaethau newydd ar gyfer catïon gan sicrhau fod polisi cefnogol, isadeiledd ymarfer a phartneriaeth ar waith i alluogi cyflenwi llwyddiannus, yn lleol a rhanbarthol fel syn briodol. Fe fydd hefyd yn hyrwyddo dull cydlynol yn genedlaethol a lleol tuag at fentrau a phrosiectau megis Uned Atal Trais, Hwb ACE ac Ymyrryd yn Gynnar gydan Gilydd, er mwyn tynnu sylw at bwysigrwydd dulliau atal ac ymyrryd yn fuan a sicrhau eu bod yn cael eu sefydlu yn lleol, yn rhanbarthol ac yn genedlaethol yng Nghymru.
