Job Description

Business Development Manager (Biologics)The companyI am delighted to work with a successful and growing biotechnology company. My client specialise in producing unique biological components for food and pharmaceutical manufacturing.About the roleThe role is ideal for someone who has strong demonstrable experience in overseeing business development activities in a scientific/ technical industry. Applicants must have strong experience of creating excellent relationships and long term B2B accounts. Candidates with 4 years+ relevant experience would be ideal.Ongoing training will be provided where necessary.Key responsibilities- Winning key customers and strategically developing new business- Relationship management and development of key accounts- Identify and close business on a quarterly basis- To attend around 25 sales visits per quarter with existing clients or new prospects- Up to 30% travel as part of the roleRequired experience;- A technical science degree is essential to all applicants!
