Job Title: Business Change ManagerJob Types: Full-time, PermanentLocation: Cardiff (hybrid or remote working available)Salary: up to £55k, depending on experience, with other company benefitsJob overview:As part of the Business Solutions Team, Business Change Manager is responsible for delivering business transformation by managing a range of improvement programmes and projects.What does Business Change Manager doWorking closely with the Business Transformation Director and leading team of Project Managers and Business Analysts, you will provide expertise & support in definition, design, planning and execution of change initiatives to ensure they balance the trade-offbetween cost, efficiency & customer experience in their implementation.The Business Change Manager will ensure that all owned initiatives will follow the defined change principles in terms of efficiency, and that the business solutions defined meet quality standards. You will work closely with the Business Transformation Directorto provide relevant expertise into the business and render assistance / consultation to Operations team members when dealing with change and improvement.The Business Change Manager will develop agreed initiatives that positively impact on the customer experience, profitability of the functions and the simplification of the operational tasks, right first time, in the agreed timescales and to budget.Duties and responsibilities: Identify and deliver improvement activity across the NewLaw business, through employing process improvement methodologies, in line with the Change Management principles and approach Manage the transition of change into the business by working with operational team to embed changes within the business. Work closely with the Business Transformation Director to prioritise the change agenda Work with stakeholders and colleagues, cross functionally, to build a continuous improvement environment and mindset across the organisation Support the delivery of better value and greater efficiency through the identification and elimination of waste and unnecessary complexity within our business Ensuring programmes and projects are delivered to the appropriate quality standards, on time and in budget Analyse data and evidence to support decisions around improvement Carry out process mapping, documenting existing processes and defining future ones Put in place measures to test and monitor the benefits to be realised through improvements Ensure all projects risks are understood and communicated Lead and develop a highly competent, motivated and professional team of Project Managers and Business Analysts so they can deliver a range of high-quality cost-effective servicesincluding objective setting and performance management.About you:Experience of change management planning and deliveryExperience in managing the teamQualifications in Programme or Project Management methodologies (e.g. Prince2 or APM) advantageous.Experience of delivering process improvement activity in a previous role within a private sector environmentExperience of working in a project and/or agile environment, with an understanding of fundamental project management principles, including development of business cases and mobilisation of programmes.Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present information effectively to a wide audience and the ability to coach, engage, encourage, and bring along stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.Ability to identify and solve problems - using data and identifying the root cause of issueKnowledge of evaluation approaches and lessons learned - with the ability to identify the effectiveness of improvementsAs a Change Manager, we offerA rewarding starting salary of up to £55k depending on experienceGreat additional employee benefits (employee assistance, life assurance, pension, retailer discounts etc.)An opportunity to join a business at the forefront of its marketplace working with a supportive, like-minded peer group all aiming for the same goal.A clear career development pathway and our commitment to supporting your professional development.This is an exciting opportunity to join our friendly team as a Business Change Manager, so if you are interested, we encourage you to apply today for an immediate consideration
