Business Analyst | Financial Services | £55 - £65k | 10% pension + bonus scheme | CardiffIm currently working with a multi-national financial services company and they are looking to hire a Business Analyst for their cross-functional technology team. They are looking to integrate the various customer retention systems as well as develop newunderwriting and brokerage systems. You will not be expected to come from a technical background, however being able to hold your own in technical conversations within a cross-functional technical team will be essential.They are offering flexible working options with an ad-hoc office travel policy in place.Responsibilities:- Develop and model business and systems functions, processes, information flows and data structures, using best practice research and analysis techniques to exploit business opportunities and achieve strategic goals.- Define requirement specifications, conduct feasibility studies, produce high level and detailed business models, and implementing solutions, on behalf of senior client/user management to deliver a measurable impact on the profitability of the division.- Critically review and evaluate any proposed solutions identifying alignment with business strategies making recommendations to senior managers ensuring they are fully aware of key risks.- Continually evaluate the quality of all deliverables, including those of 3rd parties, to ensure the end product is fit for purpose and are acceptable to all stakeholders.Experience required:- Experience as a BA within an Agile/Waterfall cross-functional technology team- Experience working on customer-centric platforms in a financial services environment (essential)- Experience using tools commonly used in Agile environments (JIRA/Confluence)
