Job Description

Role: Business AnalystLocation: Cardiff (2 Days per week in the central Cardiff office)Our client, a leading financial services organisation, is looking to expand its business change team. We are looking to recruit a Business Analyst to help drive the delivery of the group change programme and manage all activity in implementing new technology-drivenproducts and services.This role will be working in a mixed experienced team giving you the chance to work for a supportive manager and gain mentoring and training from some very talented Analysts.Our client is well known for its investment in its employees from social nights out, lunch and learns, pizza and prosecco days, and charity events and they are always accommodating needs and requests from their social secretaries!The Business Analyst will

  • be accountable for the analysis on technology change projects
  • be responsible for stakeholder engagement and management
  • create, manage and review appropriate requirements documentation describing system changes required to support business change, and liaise with the Software Engineering team to ensure changes are delivered as required
  • Identify and document existing business processes using BPMN & UML and work with business units to understand and implement opportunities for improvement.
  • Stock the product backlog and list user stories/epics.
Experience needed for the Business Analyst role
  • Demonstrable change delivery experience or previous experience in a Business Analyst/Project Delivery role
  • Experience in Agile methods (Kanban, Scrum or Safe)
  • Working with senior stakeholders
  • Taking functional and non-functional requirements
  • Process modelling
