And what’s even better is that you could be part of the action.A company who have created an award-winning AI platform, are hiring a Backend Software Developer who will play an instrumental part in increasing their integration capabilities and setting up scalable infrastructure with the ability to deal with high volumes of customer requests.Their software combines, chatbots, voice assistants and data analytics in order to improve customer service, whilst creating a much more seamless customer journey. Their sophisticated solution automates mundane tasks from human agents, freeing up their time to be spent on more complex issues. Currently being used by organisations across Utilities, Government and Automotive to name a few.As Backend Software Developer, your time will be split between API development and integrations, as well as scalable infrastructure. They’re looking for you to bring some experience building CI/CD pipelines and cloud (ideally Serverless AWS, such as Lambda or similar). You don’t have to be a DevOps expert, as long as you’re happy to learn and dive in deeper on the DevOps side as they move towards an automation first environment.You’ll be getting stuck into greenfield projects from the start. On occasions you’ll have the opportunity to get involved in the development of their chatbots, using their very own proprietary software with an internally built AI/NLP Engine.Your experience will include TypeScript (or JavaScript), Node.JS, we’d also consider programming experience in Java or Python. Some experience with AWS is expected but open on tools used for CI/CD.Once up to speed, you’ll have the opportunity to build and manage your own team of junior developers who will take care of all client implementations and integrations. Prior lead experience isn’t a must, so this is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow into a lead role.You can work from anywhere, with the ability to take advantage of co-working space whenever you’d like, in either Cardiff or London. You’ll meet up with the team quarterly in some cool locations (of course when it’s safe to do so).
