Job Description

Job Description Summary Work within the Quality Assurance Department reporting to the Quality Assurance Leader. Develop and maintain quality systems elements, policies and procedures.Ensure Wales MRO compliance with, corporate, Part 145 regulatory, customer and applicable industry standards. Job DescriptionResponsibilities

  • To promote quality, safety and a compliance culture within the production and support teams and identify and act upon quality concerns and improvement opportunities.
  • Verify that any contractual, corporate and regulatory requirements are incorporated and addressed adequately within company policy / procedure and ensure communication paths are maintained across both the Quality Team and the wider business regarding anysignificant changes to policy / procedure / regulatory / customer / corporate requirements.
  • Hosting regulatory and customer audits of Wales MRO facility and performing internal and supplier audits to ensure compliance to Part 145 requirements.
  • Drive on time audit finding closure ensuring suitable root cause and corrective actions have been recorded.
  • Engagement across ATMRO sites / functions to maintain a good knowledge of working and best practices and facilitate the creation of Standard Operating Procedures across the business.
Qualifications / Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in a relevant field or relevant industry experience or equivalent knowledge or experience
Ideally trained in one or more of the following areas:
  • ISO 9001 (or equivalent) Lead or Internal Auditor accreditation
  • Suitably trained to facilitate Root Cause Corrective Action review.
  • UK CAA / EASA Part 145 - Understanding the Requirements for Maintenance
Desired Characteristics and Experience
  • Extensive knowledge of quality systems, procedures and regulation, with emphasis on Part 145 / AS9110 and flowdown mechanisms into a large organisation
  • Experience in conducting / involvement in Part 145 or process audit.
  • Experience in using problem-solving root cause analysis tools.
  • A high standard of computer literacy (Excel, Word, Powerpoint & web applications)
  • Demonstratable problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and spoken and the ability to interact at all levels – including senior business leadership, regulatory representatives, and customer / operator representatives.
  • The ability to exercise role flexibility.
  • The ability to work under their own initiative whilst supporting the team structure.
  • A pragmatic approach to problem solving and decision making, and the ability to understand and take account of the wider business picture.
  • Good understanding of the business OTR
  • The ability to assimilate detailed information quickly and make fact-based decisions.
