Job Description

Automation TesterCardiff/Remote£35,000 - £50,000 per Annum- With Benefits -What you will be doing:

  • Advising on and building a range of automated test approaches into our software delivery pipelines (Azure DevOps)
  • Creation and management of test data to aid our functional and non-functional automated tests
  • Investigating test tools and technologies and assessing their use cases and suitability
  • Driving forward the test approach to be adopted in your specialist area and sharing the knowledge and training needed to the wider business
Experience you will bring:
  • Experience integrating automated testing techniques into software development pipelines
  • In depth knowledge of Azure DevOps or similar tools (Octopus, GitHub Enterprise)
  • Coding experience in one or more OOP languages (C#, Java etc)
  • Experience of DevOps practices and culture
  • Performance testing experience (ideally using JMeter and BlazeMeter)
  • API testing experience (Postman, RestSharp)
  • Experience of Git source control management
