Job Description

Experience & Qualification Youre someone who:

  • Understands, devises and communicates Quality frameworks to ensure accurate, and right first-time deliveries
  • Experience working in an Agile delivery model, SCRUM or KANBAN framework
  • Adept at anticipating and navigating competing business needs and technical constraints
  • Evidenced experience in people management of multi skilled and ability teams and;
    • performance managing, and motivating a team in a high-pressured environment
    • C# Development
    • SSIS /SQL Development
    • KOFAX Development
    • Java development
    • XML/JSON development
    • Appian development experience including designs conceptual workflows and related actions.
  • Good application background in n-tier and load balance environment
  • Complete all configuration, continuous code integration, development and unit testing
  • Works with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather other requirements Prerequisites
The Automation Lead will;
  • Provide a full process development service to Target clients (internal and external)
  • Provide a lead the Automation team to success with no rework, high utilisation and an engaged team
  • Ensure appropriate Statement of works, in conjunction with the Deployment lead and developer
  • Sign off all deployments
  • Work closely with the onshore Lead to ensure Statements of work, approach and timescales are viable
  • Ensure appropriate regression testing, smoke testing, UAT and all other testing meet the required standards ahead of deployment
  • Be responsible for ensuring deployments adhere to standards for delivery notes
  • Be responsible for Change Advisory Board at Target and Champion change in the team
  • Be responsible for ensuring the department is protected from failed change via appropriate roll backs (that are tested)
  • Optimize TLS performance by enhancing the alignment between business processes and information technology, proactively challenges the performance of current processes and systems and provides solutions that implement improvements to drive TLS efficiency.
  • Produce Statement of works and low-level design for business process management.
  • Develop and implement processes via Targets current BPM tooling Appian and supporting systems
  • Work collaboratively with Project Managers, Business Analysts, Development and Operational teams to advise, design and build cost effective process automation and management solutions.
  • Proactively challenging the performance of current processes and systems to identify and provide automated solutions that implement improvements to drive efficiency for Target Group and our clients.
People(management, stakeholders etc.)
  • Strong ability to liaise with people and build a rapport with colleagues for timely, and accurate deliveries
  • Ability to perform as a strong team player and challenge the "status Quo"
  • Ability to manage stakeholders and ensure communication is a key tool in the toolkit of a developer at Target
  • Holds a high level of accountability for deployments - 0% failed change and accurate Statement of works
  • Holds a high level of integrity

  • Support colleagues with expert knowledge where applicable
Customer & Client

  • Attain good levels of feedback from any delivery (client or internal customers)
Financial(processing transitions, managing a budget etc.)
  • Resolution of BAU requests or issues within defined SLAs with no failed change
  • Ensure all work is completed in a timely manner, chasing stakeholders where appropriate
  • Ensure all work is completed within estimated time frames
  • Ensure appropriate use of the Target Change Advisory Board to protect Target against the cost of failed change
  • Support in eliciting, documenting and prioritising high level and detailed requirements
Process
  • Work closely with Targets Design, Development and Test teams to ensure appropriate, accurate and timely solutions
  • Ability to create a detailed statement of work before commencing development and ensure appropriate sign off documented
  • Ability to create detailed Low-level requirements of work before commencing development
  • Develop knowledge of all team system functionality and the application of this functionality within the end-user environment
  • Test change controls and produce test evidence acceptable for peer review, business sign off and Change Approval Board (CAB)
  • Identifying, analysing and recommending areas for improvement and change within existing processes and procedures
