My Client, a specialist UK based Flood Risk and Flood Forecasting Government Body, is searching for an Associate to join and manage their Flood Risk team based in Cardiff.Candidates are expected to have a strong academic background in Hydrology, Environmental Science or Engineering and have experience working for a Government Body, Local Authority, Consultancy or University specialising in flood risk, flood forecasting, HydraulicModelling and/or Hydrology.You will be expected to have experience managing and mentoring team members, managing projects and teams and have experience liaising with Clients and local organisations.You will be expected to have experience in data analysis, interpretation and mapping using ArcGIS, hydraulic modelling, hydrology and/or flood forecasting.As an Associate you will be expected to join and manage a team of flooding specialists based in Cardiff. You will be expected to provide technical flood risk, hydraulic modelling and flood forecasting/climate change advice to the team.
