Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-known, well-established multi-disciplinary consultancy on the hire of an Associate Director to support the growth of the team in Cardiff.This post will be a key role in our delivery of renewable energy projects, so experience and enthusiasm in this area are paramount.Your roleThis is a key position where you will help provide leadership, be the day-to-day project lead and the go to person for both the client and your business unit leaders and team. Youll get to work with a wide range of clients on diverse schemes that affectall types of built development managing all aspects of a job. Developing strong working relationship with other members of the project/design team and with existing as well as new clients. Youll be joining a well-established Wales and West team. A strongcollaborative team that is committed to providing outstanding advice and outcomes for our clients. Your skills and experienceYoull have a relevant degree (or equivalent) and be MRTPI qualified. Youll be an expert in your market, a highly experienced and competent practitioner with strong leadership qualities. Experience of energy and infrastructure projects in Wales would be advantageous. Youll be used to a client-facing role and have an established market reputation and work-winning ability. Good financial and project management skills are a must, as are great influencing and communication skills. Being able to build, maintain and consolidatestrong working relationships with colleagues, clients and external bodies is expected.
