Some home working35hrs pw, fixed term up to Oct 2023They are looking for an Asset Surveyor to join their new team to lead on the decarbonisation of their properties and to reduce their environmental footprint.Are you excited about the sustainability agenda and new green technologies Do you have experience of surveying, procurement and project management of works Are you customer focused and a fantastic team player Then they have an exciting new role that mightbe just what youre looking for.About our clientOur client is an award-winning organisation that currently owns and manages around 3,000 rented properties in mid and south Wales, working in several local authority areas.About the roleReporting to their Head of Assets & Sustainability, you will be responsible for conducting stock condition and energy performance surveys and identifying suitable properties for optimised retrofit works. You will be procuring and project managing these worksand working with external stakeholders to identify and secure funding opportunities.About youThey are looking for a positive and proactive Asset Surveyor who can deliver success in this newly formed team. You should have previous experience of surveying and a working knowledge of building procurement methods. You will have a proven track recordof project management delivering on time and to budget. You must have a genuine interest in the sustainability and zero carbon agenda and be excited about improving their homes and providing affordable warmth for their tenants.With a degree level qualification in a construction related field or other relevant and proven experience, you will need to be IT literate with working knowledge of MS applications and stock condition databases. A domestic energy assessor qualification isdesirable but not essential.They have an ambitious programme of works, and you should enjoy working effectively under your own initiative and managing a busy workload. You will be an effective communicator with good interpersonal skills.
