Job Description

We are working with the education sector who are recruiting for an Asset Management Team Lead to join their team. The role will be responsible for the ongoing development and implementation of robust resource management solutions, including Asset Management, reporting mechanisms and other service assurance tools and frameworks.This is what you’ll be doing

  • Take lead on initiatives to improve profile of the department and gain buy in from stakeholders for service improvements and the embedding of frameworks and good practice.
  • Support departmental resource planning under the overall direction of the Head of Customer Service
  • Develops configuration management strategies, policies, standards, and guidelines.
  • Manages suppliers to meet key performance indicators and agreed targets. Manages implementation of supplier service improvement actions
    • The experience you’ll bring to the team
  • SACM and ITIL Life cycle skills with understanding and proven ability to utilise in practical manner.
  • Ability to interpret technical information and data to implement continuous improvement techniques for your area and provide incident and productivity reports and documentation.
  • A thorough knowledge of IT Service Asset Management to include proactive planning and management of licensing models, lifecycle and renewal management.
  • Experienced in implementing Service Asset Configuration Management databases or similar system.
