A highly successful Asbestos and Health & Safety Consultancy that provides professional high quality services to a mixed portfolio of clients in the Northern region is actively seeking to employ a high calibre, Asbestos Surveyor based in the Cardiff area.The successful candidate would be undertaking Asbestos Management, refurbishment/demolition with a mixed portfolio of industrial and commercial sites. Applications from Swansea, Newport, Caerphilly and the surrounding areas would be considered Qualifications:The applicant must have attained the P402 or the equivalent RSPH qualification.Will have significant practical experience in asbestos surveying and within the asbestos industry.Must be fully conversant with the Health & Safety procedures pertaining to asbestos.Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Must be competent in using the computer.Key Tasks:Carrying out asbestos Management, Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on various buildings - both commercial and industrial.Collating and producing comprehensive asbestos reports - recording site details.Building and maintaining a good rapport with clients.Complying to the Health & Safety procedures with regards to asbestos.Dealing with any issues effectively and appropriately.Attributes:In general, the successful candidate will be an all-rounder, reliable and have the ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
