Market leading adhesives manufacturer require a technically minded Area Sales Manager covering the south of the UK selling into the manufacturing and engineering sectors. Pension,Private Health Cover · 25 Days Holiday plus StatsLOCATION: South UK - Home BasedCOMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Bristol, Reading, Swindon, Cardiff, Guildford, Southampton, Oxford, BournemouthJOB DESCRIPTION: Area Sales Manager : Adhesive Tapes : Industrial DistributionThis is a challenging territory sales role managing a large geographic area across the South, you will be selling to end users within the manufacturing and engineering sectors via an established distributor network.This is a standalone role with high levels of autonomy and your main responsibilities will be: · Account Management - to manage several existing and well-established industrial distributors, across the South of the UK. · Developing New Business - finding and developing new end user business, often jointly with our distribution partners. Understand customers process or application requirements and providing a suitable solution and turning that solution into sound commercial sales.PERSON SPECIFICATION: Area Sales Manager : Adhesive Tapes : Industrial Distribution· We would be delighted to receive applications from sales specialists or time served technically minded personnel within the adhesive market looking to develop their career with a market leading manufacturer. · We would equally be interested in receiving applications from existing Sales Executives / Area Sales Managers who sell a technical consumable product into a manufacturing or engineering environment.It is highly likely that you would have undertaken one of the following roles: Areas Sales Manager, Technical Sales Manager, Territory Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Territory Sales Executive, Sales Manager, Field Sales Manager, Distribution Sales Manager or Industrial Sales Manager.Ideally you will also have some experience or exposure in the following markets or consumable products: fasteners, lubricants, abrasives, tools, adhesives tapes, cutting tools, welding, soldering, automotive, adhesives and sealants.THE COMPANY:Part of an international manufacturing group, we are one of the worlds market leading manufacturers of engineering solutions for a variety of industrial and commercial uses.
