Job Description

Are you a compassionate individual with a commitment to inclusive education Tradewind Recruitment is actively seeking a dedicated ALN (Additional Learning Needs) Teaching Assistant to join our team in Cardiff, starting this January. If you have a genuinepassion for supporting students with diverse learning needs, we want to hear from you!Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with teachers to create and implement tailored support plans for students with additional learning needs.
  • Provide one-on-one assistance and small group support to ensure individualised learning goals are met.
  • Adapt and modify learning materials to cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment that promotes the well-being and progress of every student.
  • Work closely with the ALN Coordinator and other professionals to implement effective strategies.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as an ALN Teaching Assistant is essential.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff.
  • Adaptability to support a variety of learning needs and styles.
  • Empathy and a patient approach to working with students with additional learning needs.
  • A genuine desire to contribute to the development and success of all students.
