Job Description

Opportunity for a strong administrator to join a leading manufacturing and material processing company. The organisation is a world leader in their field and is a very stable employer. Now is an excellent time to join, as the business is very optimistic about future growth potential and profitability.As the administrator, you will follow established procedures and guidelines to provide timely and effective administrative support to the operations team. Responsibilities include: -

  • Producing operational reports promptly on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
  • Ensuring stock on SAP is accurate
  • Ensuring internal material movements on SAP are accurate
  • Performing monthly stock checks
  • Creating purchasing orders and post costs
  • Helping to carry out safety and environmental audits
  • Gathering compiling and verifying information and entering it accurately into documents such as reports, presentations, or forms; and office systems such as databases or spreadsheets.
  • Performing other routine administrative activities according to the organisations established procedures. These activities may include answering telephones, taking messages, distributing incoming mail, preparing outgoing mail, photocopying, filing, andoperating office equipment.
To be successful in your application for the administrator, you will need:
  • A full driving licence and own transport (part of the role will involve travelling to other company locations).
  • Strong administration skills.
  • Good IT skills, ideally with strong Excel and ERP/MRP skills.
In return, the administrator will receive a salary of £21,000 per annum, a pension, a healthcare plan and holidays. Hours of work will be days, Monday to Friday.
