Job Description

AdministratorSalary: Up to £26,000 base + discretionary bonusLocation: Cardiff, with free parkingWithin your probationary period, youll be expected to work full time within the office to learn the ropes. After probation, they operate on a hybrid model working 3 days from the office, 2 days from home.The Role Working on behalf of a highly successful IFA firm who provide independent, practical and forward-thinking financial planning services to a wide range of individual clients, companies and trustees across South Wales and the Southwest of England, we are seekingan experienced Administrator for their Cardiff office.Working as an Administrator, you will be the welcoming voice and face of the company therefore will need to be friendly, professional, and able to take clear messages. You will need to have excellent attention to detail due to working with various documentsalong with the strong ability to multitask.You will be a key attribute and will collaborate with employees, oversee the operations within the company, communicate with management and take part in planning the needs of the company.Primary duties/Key Responsibilities

  • Answering the telephone - be the welcoming voice of the company with the ability to take clear messages.
  • Logging and scanning documentation
  • Meeting and Greeting clients
  • Processing letters of authority and obtaining full information on clients plans and ensuring workflow is kept up to date
  • Preparation of signup documentation ensuring all necessary forms are pre-populated correctly and tabbed ready for the client to sign.
  • Submit and process new business in accordance with company workflow procedures ensuring clients are kept up to date on a regular basis. Minimum of fortnightly.
  • Process client requests for income, PCLS, Bed and ISAs, withdrawals, and portfolio switches
  • General administrative tasks allocated by the Client Relationship Manager
  • Maintain accurate back-office records
  • Liaising with providers by telephone/correspondence
  • Creating and maintaining good business communication relationships with all staff
  • Always working accurately and professionally within stated boundaries.
  • Maintain a basic knowledge of regulatory requirements.
This role would suit a candidate who has experience in an administration role or similar, within Financial Services.Package
  • Salary up to £26,000 depending on experience
