Job Description

Working for a fast-growing SME company, this is an excellent time to join a fantastic Cardiff based business which is going through a period of growth. The role will report directly into the FC of the business and offers an excellent opportunity for a drivenindividual to join an organisation and take on responsibility over time, as well as be given an opportunity to study.Main duties of the role to include -

  • Responsible for the processing and payment of all purchase invoices
  • Responsible for all day to day banking activities
  • Prepare monthly bank account reconciliations
  • Maintaining nominal, sales and purchase ledgers on the accounting system
  • Processing, maintaining and reconciling petty cash
  • Raising and processing nominal ledger journals following authorisation
  • Produce daily, weekly, monthly reports for the management
  • Involvement in the month end process
The role would ideally suit an AAT qualified or early stages CIMA / ACCA studier who is seeking to join a progressive organisation and grow with the business.
  • The role will offer WFH for circa 2 - 3 days per week, and also operates a flexible working policy.
  • Study support will be tailored to the individual successful candidate.

The successful candidate will be able to work well independently and with minimal supervision. You will need to be proactive in resolving problems and queries and able to prioritise workloads to achieve set deadlines, as well as possess the ability to workand communicate with staff internally, at all levels.The successful candidate will be IT literate with strong Excel skills to include VLookUps.
