Job Description

We are currently representing a fantastic company in Cardiff that specialise in Vessel inspections benchmarking and analysis, driving asset integrity, sustainability and transparency in the maritime industry.They have an exciting, newly developed position for somebody to step in and immediately contribute to a rapidly growing Sales team. With a global client base and strong brand recognition, there is opportunity aplenty for the right account manager to helpthe business achieve its bold growth ambitions. Reporting directly to the Head of Customers, the ideal candidate would preferably have direct outbound sales experience, and will help our customers achieve maximum value from our market-leading vessel inspection reports and analytical tools, building longstandingrelationships in a unique and dynamic industry along the way.What Youll Do

  • Proactively engage with clients on a daily basis to improve customer satisfaction & retention rates.
  • On-board new customers, walking them through our innovative reporting platform and analytics dashboards.
  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of our products and an understanding of whats happening in the industry so that you can drive continuous client engagement.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with allocated accounts to ensure the business continues to meet the expectations of its customer base and to encourage growth across a broad range of accounts.
  • Maintain accurate records and details of all allocated customer account activity through the companys CRM system.
  • Gaining feedback to assist with product development.
What Youll Need
  • Top-notch written & verbal communication skills are absolutely essential to the role.
  • Ability to build trusting relationships to encourage return custom.
  • Flexibility and willingness to go above and beyond in a 24-hour industry.
  • A friendly and personable style with a desire to succeed
  • 2-3 years of account management experience, preferably within the maritime sector or related industry however not essential.
  • Experience with Hubspot CRM is desirable.
