Job Description

Our client, a rapidly expanding InSurtech firm is looking for a Senior Java Developer to join the team.Youll be working with a collaborative and experienced team and get the chance to work on the latest technologies, delivering exciting projects at pace. Our clientsworking environment nurtures inspiring ideas and thrives on diverse perspectives, both of which are a core part of their success. They are using an agile methodology to develop their micro-service based platform, which is run on AWS.The skills and experience needed are as follows:

  • Experience in developing web applications using Java, including ReST APIs.
  • Spring Boot, Spring Data, JPA and Hibernate.
  • Relational databases, MySQL.
  • Knowledge of unit and code testing frameworks such as Junit, Spock and Cucumber.
  • Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Conscientious and self-motivated, and willingness to go the extra mile to hit deadlines.
  • Ability to learn new programming languages, frameworks and tools.
  • Analytical and organised mindset with a focus on delivery
