Human Resources Apprentice (HR Support Level 3) - Canterbury A HR Level 3 apprenticeship with 20% time out for paid self-study with tutor support £13,355 per annum (if 19 or over and in second year of apprentice the salary will be minimum wage at least, the same generally if a candidate is taking a permanent position)Please provide a covering letter with your applicationCompanySwarm Training is working with one of the UKs leading and fastest-growing commercial insurance brokers and provides tailored insurance solutions to a wide range of customers and businesses.Due to business growth, they are looking to take on an Apprentice within the HR Department to provide support to the Head of HR whilst being able to learn on the job and obtain a valuable qualification. The Apprenticeship will be a fixed term contract lasting18 months. There is the possibility of a permanent role after the apprenticeshipWhat to expect on the job: Updating various HR spreadsheets and systems Assisting staff with use of the HR system including updating personal details and booking annual leave Logging absence and lateness onto the HR system and producing reports when required Ensuring Managers are aware of upcoming Probation end dates and checking whether the Manager is happy to pass the employee and sending a confirmation letter to the employee. Producing letters for changes to role, pay etc as well as new starter offer letters and resignation acknowledgement lettersWho are you: Has a keen interest in Human Resources, looking to get started with a career in the industry Has some understanding of the purpose and tasks of the HR function Enjoys working with people Is confident and resilient and can maintain a positive attitude in difficult situations Understands the need for total confidentiality within the function Is determined, ambitious and inquisitive. You can never ask too many questions!The salary for this role is £13,355 per annum (£6.83 per hour), if 19 or over and in second year of apprentice the salary will be minimum wage at least, the same generally if a candidate is taking a permanent position.The hours for this position are 9am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday with 1 hour for lunch totalling 37.5 hours per week.
