Job Description

HR Business Partner(9-month FTC) Canterbury – Hybrid £40,000 - £45,000 (pro rata) 37.5 hours per week (flexible for the right candidate) A rare opportunity has arisen for an employee relations focused HR Business Partner with strong knowledge of employment law and a proven track record in managing complex restructure and redundancies to join a ‘values led’ business of c.220 employees who provide services internationally.Working within a team of six reporting to the HR Director, your area of expertise will be to offer high level ER support to the wider business.As the HR Business Partnerfor this thriving business, no two days will be the same!Your main responsibilities will include :

  • Developing exceptional relationships to all stakeholders
  • Providing HR advice and guidance on a range of ER issuesat all levels across multiple sites both within the UK and overseas.
  • Leading all ER investigations end to end , ensuring compliance to employment legislation, with the support of legal professionals where necessary
  • Managing, monitoring, and reporting on absenteeism, collaboratively improving processes with a view to continuous improvement
  • Reviewing and reporting beforeimplementing, and improving company legislation, policies and processes related to the employee lifecycle
  • Acting as lead in restructures and/or redundancy programmes
  • Mentoring and upskilling HR Advisors on recruitment and routine ER matters
  • Checking payroll for accuracy
  • Contributing to the planning and delivery of staff development
  • Any other duties as required
To be successful in applying for this HR Business Partner role you will be:
  • CIPD (or equivalent) qualified to at least Level 5
  • Passionate about ER with unrivalled knowledge of all related legislation
  • Experienced in dealing with restructures and redundancies
  • An emotionally intelligent team player with exceptional interpersonal skills demonstrated through the ability to develop and maintain great professional relationships at all levels
  • Calm, organised and methodical
  • Detail orientated with high personal standards
  • Strong numerically , able to analyse and reporton insight and data as well as present clearly to relevant parties
  • Experienced in developing process efficiencies.
  • Experienced supporting employees across multiple locations, ideally for a global business within the professional services sector although other industry backgrounds will be considered
