Our people live and breathe our SPIRIT values; we are the place for spirited people.More about your roleAs a Gas Engineer with Places for People you will be covering ourKent area.You will be expected to ensure all gas appliances and systems owned by the group are serviced and maintained to meet all statutory requirements, customer expectations and group procedures. Our team of Gas Engineers carry out the maintenance and servicingwork for our internal and external customers in a safe manner.You will maintain the tools, equipment and van provided to you and ensure they are kept in good working order.Your working days will typically be Monday to Friday. There may be overtime available and the occasional requirement to help with the 1 in 5 call out rota across Monday to Sunday.Please download the attached job description for further informationMore about youTo be considered for this role you will hold a relevant technical gas qualification to NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent qualification) and possess all current ACS accreditation in CCN1, CEN1, CPA1 and HTR1. You will also have previous experience working in asimilar role.You will have a good understanding of domestic heating systems, a sound knowledge of boiler and system faults with combis, open vented and sealed systems including electrical fault finding.An understanding of health and safety in the workplace is essentialfor this role.
