ABM Global Accountants are looking for enthusiastic resource and competent resource to join our professionals team forthe position of Payroll Administrator cum Bookkeeper.The Candidate must have at least two to three years experience in managing payroll on IRIS and bookkeeping at Xero.Main Job Responsibilities as Payroll Administrator

  • Liaising with clients on payroll changes and answering payroll and pension queries.
  • Processing salaries through IRIS payroll and producing reports and payslips for the client, the accounts a team.
  • Calculating statutory parental leave and sick pay.
  • Auto enrolment duties, filing enrolment and re enrolment declarations for the clients.
  • Uploading monthly pension files to the pension provider.
  • Submitting FPS/EPS and end of year returns to HMRC.
  • Producing P60s.
  • Monthly payroll analysis for client journals.
MainJob Responsibilities as Bookkeeper
  • Bookkeeping to trial balance (management accounts experience desirable)
  • Experienced in computerised financial accounting packages (at least 2 years Xero experience)
  • Experience of month end reconciliation and analytical review.
  • Numeracy, accuracy, attention to detail especially using spreadsheets and accounting software.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Good Excel skills.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Able to work unsupervised using own initiative.
  • Ability to cope with change.
  • Ability to keep financial records and to prepare routine financial reports.
  • Ability to create effective working relationship with team and clients.
  • Ability to prioritise, plan and organise their work.
  • Client focused approach.
  • Process and procedure driven.
  • Punctual and reliable.
Required skills, experience, and attributes:Ideal Candidate should be
  • Graduate in Accounting and finance / ACCA part qualified within a public practice setting.
  • Work confidently with various computer and accounting software such as IRIS, VT and Xero.
  • Effective business communication and team working spirit.
  • Quality assurance and customer care.
  • Minimum 02-03 years of experience working with IRIS Payroll within accountancy firm.
  • Good oral/written Communication skills.
