Job Description

Avanti Recruitment is currently working with a leading broadcasting company to recruit a talented Software Engineer for their development team.A varied and challenging role where you will be instrumental in the software development of JavaScript and other front end applications. You will also be involved in customer discussions, requirements analysis and testing support. Working in an Agile environment looking to improve the process and efficiency of software development.Skills

  • Extensive hands-on development experience using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AJAX, jQuery
  • Good working knowledge of React
  • Familiarity with gulp, grunt, webpack is a plus
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies e.g. Scrum, TDD.
  • Understanding of VOD, live streaming, and DRM, as well as experience in the TV industry (IPTV, Connected TV) is a plus
  • Interest in learning new platforms and new technologies is a plus
    • You will work on applications for world famous brands from idea stage through to market launch. Gaining exposure to cutting edge technologies and the opportunity to work with some of the largest global media brands.
