Job Description

Cloud Engineer, AWS, Terraform, CloudFormation, DevOps, Central London AWS Cloud Engineer required to work for a large retail organisation based in Central London. However, due to Covid-19, this will be based from home circa 2-3 days per week.Skills required:

  • Showcase great understanding of AWS and how cloud components work together to create HA, resilient, secure, reliable and cost-efficient services.
  • Good experience with AWS Services, such as CloudFormation, ECS, AWS Code tools etc.
  • Good experience with alternative tools like Terraform, Ansible, Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Solid understanding of Linux and Networking.
  • Experience with Apache Kafka.
  • An automation data driven mindset and knowledge of any programming/scripting (Shell, Python, Go).
  • You will strive to keep on top of advancements in the Cloud, DevOps tooling and automation.
  • Mentor junior cloud engineers and help upskill them and improve their knowledge.
