Job Description

This role brings the opportunity to work with a dynamic and tenacious team for a market leading business. In the role of Warehouse Supervisor, you will contribute to managing a productive and accurate shift, through coaching and motivating the Warehouse team, and meeting all SLAs and KPIs to deliver premium service levels for the business and our customers.Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience in a fast moving deadline driven environment essential
  • IT skills to an intermediate level, including all MS Office programs, WMS with handheld scanners for pick / putaway / replen experience advantageous
  • People focussed and committed to staff recruitment & development
  • Deputise for the Shift Manager in their absence, so experience of being the most senior employee on site for early morning / late evening activity is desirable
  • Experience of MHE operation, namely Pivot Steer and PPT type trucks
  • Key responsibilities
  • Deliver a high standard of Health & Safety across the warehouse operation
  • To deliver high levels of Productivity and high standards of quality focus at all stages of the warehouse operation
  • Work closely with all Warehouse operatives and assistants to coach and advise on all operational processes
  • Key Holder responsibilities/security call outs if required
  • To monitor and achieve all KPIs & SLAs, including cost savings, productivity efficiencies and Operational set up
  • Manage pick & despatch outbound operations across both B2C and B2B formats
  • Manage inbound operations from various worldwide suppliers & carriers
  • Show strong working knowledge of all relevant equipment and processes such as MHE, racking, manual handling, loading / unloading, pallet types, etc
  • Work with both permanent and temporary team warehouse members, and plan tasks accordingly
