For: Warehouse Assistant Meyer Scott Ref: VR/07953 Permanent Role: Our client supplies High Quality fibreglass safety products to a large variety of industry sectors. Most products generally have an anti-slip top surface to help with slip resistance in various weather conditions. All their products are manufactured to the highest standards of quality in the market place, at realistic prices. They are currently looking for a warehouse assistant to join them on a permanent basis. Duties to include - · Cutting of fibreglass products to length · Picking of goods · Packing finished jobs for dispatch and loading onto courier vans · Fork lift usage (forklift licence preferable but not essential · Stock checking and reporting to Production Manager · Relocation of items within Warehouse · Goods in · Goods out · Loading and unloading of vehicles · Use of pallet truck · Maintenance of work areas · General Warehouse duties · Adherence to Health and Safety · Any other reasonable request by Supervisor Candidate - · Will need to be physically fit as there is some lifting involved · Good working knowledge of Maths and English essential · Must be able to undertake a physically demanding role. · Ideally full clean driving licence and ideally have experience in the use of saws and site · Previous experience in a warehouse environment would be advantageous · A Counterbalance forklift licence would be advantageous but not essential Working hours - 08.30-16.30 Monday-Friday. Half an hour for lunch. Overtime is available at a flat rate.
