Job Description

The One Group are delighted to be partnering with an award-winning AI specialist who are looking to add an experienced UX Architect to their incredibly successful, collaborative team.This is a very exciting, unique opportunity to join a business who are driven by a desire to achieve greater sustainability - in the products they develop, and in how they operate. Every single person in the business plays a fundamental role in their success- Theyre a collaborative, inclusive bunch who are at their happiest when they put their heads together to meet the challenge of an unsolvable problem.You will be joining an existing UX team consisting of a UX Researcher, Front end Developer and a Digital Designer.As a User Experience Architect, you will immerse yourself in what subject matter experts and users need and identify the most valuable ways to meet those needs. Youll ensure everyone involved focuses on delivering the most valuable thing in the most efficientway, getting outcomes into the hands of the users quickly in order to iterate.Key responsibilities;

  • Partnering with the product owner to help communicate with the wider business to ensure the things you make deliver towards the strategy - illustrating, presenting and iterating your vision with the team
  • Collaborating with your team to break down this vision into its component parts - writing user stories, leading prioritisation, and refinement sessions
  • Planning and running research activities and co-creation workshops with subject matter experts and end users
  • Developing and communicating design concepts as part of an agile development team - sketching, creating journey maps, flows or presentations - whatever it takes to gain a shared understanding of what youre aiming for
Key skills;
  • Have 5+ years UX experience, ideally spanning different problem spaces and working environments
  • Understand what it takes to deliver digital products and services
  • Have experience applying lean UX and service design practices to product development
  • Have a diverse portfolio of work that showcases your processes, capabilities and versatility
  • Problem solver, continuous learner, great at collaboration, agile way of working
  • Curious observer, good listener, understand how UX impacts business and good storyteller
This position is based in Cambridgeshire, however the company offer a very flexible working approach with the role being predominantly homebased.As you can imagine, theres a lot more to this role and company to be shared.
