Job Description

Our client, a pioneering medical device company are looking for a Test Technician to join their device testing group working on a wide variety of medical and drug delivery devices. You will work on internal projects to provide testing expertise of medicaldevices. Being a key user within the lab setting and workshops, you will support the preparation and review of test documents followed by comprehensive presentations to higher management.Test Technician Responsibilities:

  • Test method development and functional testing at all stages of the development process
  • Supporting project teams in planning and delivering test work
  • Prepare technical documentation in accordance with project requirements
  • Produce high quality test data, interpret and present findings
  • Support change through training and adoption of best practices
  • Contribute to technical investigations, including non-conformances
Test Technician Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in authoring detailed protocols and performing high quality test work
  • Experience of working in a medical or drug delivery device testing programme
  • Knowledge of test methodologies for functions of medical or drug delivery devices
  • Proficiency in the use of data and analysis tools
  • Structured and methodical approach to problem solving
  • Working knowledge of quality management systems, including cGXP and ALCOA principles
Test Technician Desirables:
  • Working knowledge of test method and equipment. Verification, validation
  • Experience using Minitab statistical software
