Job Description

Are you an electro-mechanical technician or engineer looking for a new challenge within an innovative and successful engineering company If so, please read on as I have a great opportunity to join a friendly and creative company who are looking to expandtheir team.As an experienced production or manufacturing technician, your responsibilities will include the assembly, test and inspection of complex electro-mechanical products. You will be working with R&D to build products, identifying issues, documenting assemblyprocesses and procedures, testing, jigs and fixtures. You will have an enquiring mind and the ability to not just follow instructions, but look for improvements or innovative ways to solve engineering challenges. Good hands on skills across mechanical assembly,wiring, pcbs and soldering would be useful together with a flexible approach to engineering.You are likely to have experience of working in a technical production, assembly or manufacturing environment and be highly organised with strong attention to detail together with good communication and interpersonal skills are essential. A strong team player,you will have a good understanding of engineering and manufacturing processes and be keen to further progress your career.This role may interest you if you have worked previously as a production technician, development technician, R&D engineer, manufacturing technician, assembly technician, systems technician, build technician, electro-mechanical assembler or similar.This role is easily commutable from Cambridge, Newmarket, Huntingdon, Bury St Edmunds, St Neots, St Ives, Haverhill, Mildenhall, Ely, Thetford, Brandon and many more places in Cambridgeshire, Suffolk and Hertfordshire.
