My client is a leading Pharmaceuticals company based in Cambridge and are looking for a Software Tool Developer - Python to contribute programming expertise in R and/or python for the agile development of new software toolsClient DetailsMy client is a leading pharmaceuticals company, based in Cambridge, looking for a Software Tool Developer - Python to join their Quantitative Solutions team providing high quality software.DescriptionThe Software Tool Developer - Python role at my pharmaceutical client, based in Cambridge, will be involved in the support of the drug development portfolio:

  • Propensity Scores
  • Indirect Comparisons
  • Trial design simulations
  • Data visualisations
  • Subgroup Analyses
  • Decision making methodologies
  • Machine learning
ProfileTo be considered for the Software Tool Developer - Python role at my Pharmaceuticals client, based in Cambridge, the candidate must present the following:Essential
  • Experience of providing programming for package development, testing and validation of R packages for either statistical analysis, modelling & simulation, or business applications
  • BSc or above in biostatistics, mathematics, informatics or related subject
  • Broad understanding of clinical drug development & the pharmaceutical environment
Desirable
  • Experience, or understanding, of end-to-end agile software tool development and life cycle management
  • Knowledge of other programming languages (e.g. R-Shiny, Java, Python, Spotfire, C/C++, VBA/VBS) would be advantageous
Job OfferOn offer for the successful Software Tool Developer - Python role at my Pharmaceuticals client, based in Cambridge:
  • 6 month contract
  • Up to £600 a pay Inside IR35
  • Remote working
