Job Description

Nonstop Care is working with a local authority in East of England that is looking for an experienced social worker to join their MASH Team.This rare non-case holding role relieves you from direct caseload management and long hours, enabling you to focus on short-term assignments with immediate resolution and boost your job satisfaction.This role also offers you the flexibility to work from home for up to three days per week, offering you the convenience of working from the comfort of your own home, improving your overall work-life balance!Benefits:

Your Responsibilities:The MASH team offers guidance on assessing if a family requires early intervention and whether they meet the criteria for mandatory child protection measures.You will be overseeing a range of crucial responsibilities in this role. Your main responsibilities will include:
  • Take direct responsibility for decisions on cases referred to MASH, ensuring statutory safeguards for child protection.
  • Provide professional leadership, delegate tasks, supervise, support staff, and maintaining equal opportunities and health and safety policies.
  • Elevate casework quality through audits and the integration of audit findings into social work practice.
  • Promote effective partnerships with other agencies to achieve positive outcomes in service users lives within a multi-disciplinary context
Requirements
  • Hold a professional Social Work qualification and registration (SWE)
  • Have the ability to assess and manage risk, with a focus on service-users safety and well-being
  • Post-qualified experience ideally within MASH or knowledge of multi- agency work within Children services
  • Clear, Enhanced DBS
