We are currently looking for a Senior Research Scientist to join a leading Pharmaceutical company based in the Cambridgeshire area. As the Senior Research Scientist you will be responsible for generating high throughput plate based assays and developingCRISPR screens for Target Identification and Validation.KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Your duties as the Senior Research Scientist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:1. Knowledge of assay optimisation for generation of high throughput plate-based cellular assays.2. The Senior Research Scientist will be a Cancer, Molecular or Cellular Biologist with experience in delivering target identification and validation packages.3. The Senior Research Scientist will be experienced in cell biology techniques such as cloning, transfection, high content imaging and cellular signalling.ROLE REQUIREMENTS:To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Senior Research Scientist - Target Validation we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:1. Relevant PhD degree in a Molecular/Cellular/Cancer Biology related discipline.2. Proven industry experience in developing cellular plate based screens such as CRISPR (Ideally 96 to 384 well scales, although not essential).3.
