Job Description

Senior Design EngineerNr St Neots, Cambridgeshire£50,000 - £60,000 + Progression + Phone + * Benefits*(Bonus, Company credit card and expenses.)Are you an experienced Design Engineer with experience working on projects covering a variety of sectors Would you like to join an industry leading company with a diverse portfolio of projects that includes industrial, nuclear power, rail, aircraft, entertainment,commercial, retail and high-end residential projects Well, my client are recognised as a market leader in modular steel, structural aluminium and weather protection systems and are looking for a Design Engineer to join.Job Description

  • Lead team of 3 engineers
  • Deal with technical enquiries from internal and external customers
  • Basic design and or analysis to support products
  • Prepare drawings using AutoCAD
  • Prepare structural calculations for product verification and for project application
  • Liaise with suppliers regarding technical matters and product development
  • Arrange testing of products where necessary
  • Liaise with external consultants where necessary
  • Deliver Internal Technical Training on products to staff
Ideal Candidate Requirements
  • OND / BSc in Civil / Msc in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Knowledge of the construction industry
  • AutoCAD draughting skills
  • Experience in structural steel or aluminium systems
  • Practical Knowledge of Scaffolding and Temporary works would be an advantage
  • Strong organisational skills
