Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Care Assistant to join our friendly team in Rheola Care Home in St Ives, Cambridge.If youve had previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant and are looking for career progression or are an existing Team Leader looking forthat new challenge then Excelcare could be the place for you.Excelcare is a family owned care home group established for over 30 years. Offering great care every day is central to everything we do.Covid-19 Vaccination Condition: This post is subject to compliancewith the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) (Amendment) (Coronavirus) Regulations 2021 ("the Regulations"), which requires the post holder to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 unless clinically exempt.What you can expect:Salary: £10.25to £11.22 per hour (depending on your experience/qualifications)Full time.Day and night vacancies - 12 hour shifts from 8am - 8pm/8pm - 8am, Monday - Sunday. You will be required to work alternate weekends.Main AccountabilityYou will lead a team of care assistantsand take a prominent and proactive role within the home. You and your team will be responsible for meeting the day-to-day needs of the people we care for.
