Job Description

Sales Order Processor - Temporary to Permanent OpportunityMy client is looking for an additional Team member to support the Order Processing Department to process all orders and to ensure all interactions with the Production Department are dealt with in the most professional and efficient manner.Job Overview - As a Temporary-to-Permanent Sales Order Processor, you will play a crucial role in my clients operations by ensuring the accurate and timely processing of sales orders. This position requires a keen eye for detail, excellentcommunication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to showcase their skills during the temporary period, with the potential to transition into a permanent role based onperformance.Working Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-4.30pmLocation: Huntingdon area - must be able to drive to get to the location Pay Rate: £11.50PHKey Responsibilities

  • Process incoming sales orders with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Communicate with customers to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to orders
  • Collaborate with the Production team to ensure order fulfillment meets customer expectations
  • Administer all correspondence with customers in writing punctually and professionally within 8 hours.
  • Action, evaluate, and review all amendments accurately and in a timely manner, always ensuring customer focus.
  • Proactive contribution to the development of the Order Process with a view to enhancing performance and always looking for ways to continually improve standards.
Key Objectives
  • To load all received orders on the day of receipt.
  • To process 40+ orders per day ensuring accuracy is maintained to meet personal KPIs.
  • To process 100+ orders collectively as a team per day to meet KPIs.
  • To support the order processing team and the wider office where necessary.
  • To achieve a team accuracy of processed orders >98%.
  • To ensure efficient confirmation of orders to customers within 24 hours.
  • To constantly evaluate all orders and inform customers of any discrepancies within 12 hours.
  • To manage company correspondence, complaints, and queries in an efficient and timely manner.
