Job Description

Sales Administrator Meyer Scott Ref: VR/08106Salary: £21 - £23K + Co. Bonus dependent upon experience.Location: Warboys (moving to Alconbury Autumn 2021)Small manufacturing business based in Warboys, are looking for a competent sales order processor to join their team.Due to the location you will need your own transport. The role is very much office based in a socially distanced environment.The business buys raw materials in from overseas and these are assembled and distributed to the UK market.Working with another person you will manage clients based within your territory, the role will include:The Role:

  • Processing orders received from your client via client portals, email and over the telephone.
  • Dealing with customer queries, escalating issues to other members of the team.
  • Extensive liaison with suppliers based in the UK for the customisation of products. This will involve updating the system with regards to pricing and negotiating best rates where possible.
  • Extensive liaison with other areas of the business such as account ensuring clients are not on the stop list. Liaising with despatch and team of 2 assembly workers ensuring you are in the loop with when goods will be ready for your client.
  • Updating company website with product details and posting on social media sites.
  • The company purchase raw materials from all over the world, especially China and UK, creating and sending purchase orders and assist in processing invoices to be paid.
  • Occasionally booking couriers for emergency orders.
  • Assisting with invoicing.
  • Updating their CRM system as well as spreadsheets.
  • General administration such as scanning, shredding, collating reports and photocopying.
  • Required:
  • Your own transport as public transport is poor for both Wyton and Alconbury.
  • Attend annual industry events/seminars when able.
  • Advantageous if you can use SAP, Google Suite as well have MS Office.
  • Hours: 9am - 5.30pmHolidays: 23 days + Bank HolidaysOther Benefits: Private Health Care & Contributory Pension after 6 months.
