Working directly alongside a global team you will have previously demonstrated the ability to manage and successfully deliver technically complex integratedsolutions utilising best practice engineering and project management principles. You will have the confidence in your own skillset to independently work on the full project lifecycle from understanding business and technical requirements, concept design, throughto onsite commissioning and Functional Acceptance Testing. The successful candidate will be comfortable working both independently as well as collaboratively and can respectively provide value when engaging with clients and the AGITO team and assisting inthe development of your peers.The Ideal Candidate

• Proven track record across diverse projects and technical knowledge of systems including Robots, PLC, HMI, VSD/Servo, Vision, Industrial Networks and Server Infrastructure.
• Technical competency in control automation engineering design, construction, installation, networking, commissioning and support
• Develop project estimates, plans including timing, resource allocation, and testing plans
• Fault finding and the application of Root Cause Analysis, and/or FMEA, DFMEA, FMECA methodologies
• Lead and develop systems functional descriptions, including electrical and controls layout for fully automated robotic manufacturing systems
• Apply thorough and appropriate reliability testing requirements for products, review product requirement specifications to develop sub-assembly or system level reliability test plans
• Conformance to HSEQ standards in the design and execution of all work
• Conduct Product Design Verification and Process Validations, and other product/process qualification activities as required

Responsibilities will include:

• Programming robotic platforms include. 6-axis robot arms, stewart platforms and custom stages
• Developing C++ and Python libraries for robotic applications
• Developing ROS nodes for sensors and gripper systems
• Interfacing robotic platforms with end effectors and sensors
• Generate automated tests in continuous integration environment
• Perform testing and validation of new software features
• Ad hoc special projects/tasks as delegated
• Adhere to in house software standards and conventions
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams and work with vendors and contractors
• Develop detailed documentation for internal and customer reference
• Ensure tasks are completed within the given deadlines
