Job Description

Project Manager / Senior Project Manager x3 / Infrastructure / Networking / Cloud / MSP / Managed Service Provider / Work from Home with Travel / £45-£73k Base DOE + Bonus + PackageMy client, a leading managed service provider are recruiting based on the onset of a large set of end customer projects within their portfolio. The project manager will be Prince 2 and/or Agile certified and have relevant experience in delivering infrastructureand Cloud projects from hardware upgrades to entire new ICT builds. The Project Manager will have experience in a number of technology disciplines including :

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft based operating systems with emphasis on Windows Server 2012 to present, Azure and Exchange Server 2010 to present
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft server and client operating systems including Active Directory, Remote Desktop Services, File & Print Sharing, Group Policies, WSUS and DNS/DHCP etc.
  • Deep understanding of Microsoft collaboration stack including Microsoft 365, Exchange, Teams & SharePoint Online
  • Experience conducting migrations such as Microsoft Exchange to Office 365
  • Experience in networking both converged LAN and WAN including firewall, router and switch technologies. Understanding of VLANs, firewall rule sets
  • VPN, MPLS and Remote Access technologies
  • Virtualisation using VMWare ESXi and/or Hyper-V platform
  • Experience with WIFI technologies such as Ruckus, Cisco or similar
  • A good understanding of current network topologies
  • Experience of working in a managed services provider
General skill:
  • Infrasturcture and Cloud project management experience from a technical background including leadership, planning, coordinating and monitoring of concurrent projects and:
  • The ability to multi-task (working on multiple projects at a time)
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • To work well individually and as part of a team
  • To be able to create and administer project documentation to a methodology such as PRINCE2 and Agile
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Have a full driving license
