Job Description

Work with the next generation of surgical robots as a Product Support Engineer.Combining technical ability, processes and people skills, this role is centered on your ability to work well with teams and get to the root cause of any issue.In this high-growth business, youll need to be able to work independently and act rapidly, developing the reliability of the system through understanding methods and failures.This role is split 50:50 between the office and home working and is ideal for an individual looking to push themselves further in their career.Skills:

  • 3 or more years experience with in a similar environment -including, Product Engineering, Customer Support, Reliability Engineering, Research and Development
  • Successful track record of delivery of projects
  • A strong problem-solving mindset, evidence of using root cause analysis and risk management methods such as Fault Tree Analyses and Ishikawa diagrams
  • Experience defining and establishing processes that meet the quality requirements of a medical devices business
  • Systems engineering knowledge (to degree level or equivalent)
  • Understanding of complex mechanical, electronic, software, and control problems
Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems facing customers in an effective manner, communicating with key teams and keeping records updated
  • Support Field Service Engineers through remote technical assistance
  • Champion best practices for an operational support team whilst developing methods for continued improvement
  • Develop systems and methods - by capturing knowledge and document to support Service Engineers
  • Investigate and resolve issues and implement fixes and containment actions rapidly
